Bentley's 3rd-Gen Continental GT Goes 0-60 in 3.9 Seconds
Packing 542 horsepower.

Bentley has just unveiled its newest grand tourer, the third-gen Continental GT V8 – available in both coupe or convertible models. The new Continental GT V8 is deservingly equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 capable of producing 542 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. With power like that that, the car can go 0-60mph in just 3.9 seconds, or 4.0 for the convertible, reaching top speeds of 198mph. Both models come standard with an all-wheel-drive system, but in normal driving situations, it’ll default to a rear-wheel-drive setting to enhance efficiency whilst maintaining its sportiness.
The improved models come with various new wheel options ranging from 20-inch, 10-spoke alloys to 22-inch wheels. The standard version boasts an array of improved technology, such as the LED Matrix headlights, Bentley’s interior rotating display, 20-way adjustable leather seats, and even a 650W 10-speaker Bentley audio system. With the convertible, you also get an improved neckwarmer — keeping you warm for the sold summer nights.
Both models of the third-gen Continental GT V8 will be available in the US third-quarter of this year, with a following worldwide release in early 2020.
