2019 is well underway and to keep up with its coveted Jordan Brand arsenal, sportswear giant Nike has officially introduced the Air Jordan 1 “Phantom.”

This aptly named silhouette is dressed in a “Sail” colorway, seeing the majority of its upper and midsole taking on the color palette. For an added bit of contrast, the shoe’s stitching, which is usually done in subtle black or white, has been substituted with eye-popping red; creating a hand-drawn effect similar to the same aesthetics of artist Joshua Vides. Elsewhere, the vibrant red tone can be found on the ankle collar and as a backdrop on the Swoosh branding, while added black stitching on the tongue tabs, and back heels as an interesting take to the model.

Interested fans will be able to purchase the Air Jordan 1 “Phantom” on March 16 for $160 USD at select Jordan Brand retailers and nike.com.

For more sneaker drops, Nike’s latest React Element 55 receives hits of vibrant colors.
