BEAMS continues a season of strong releases with a pair of “crazy” caps. Crafted by New Era, the hats sport different panels and plenty of contrasting Yankees branding in two distinct flavors.

Japanese slang dictates that “crazy” garments are distinct from patchwork in that they simply mash up patterns and/or prints, instead of actually being stitched together from different textiles. As such, these caps sport varying panels of cotton canvas, completed with differing Yankees logos. One iteration mashes up black, navy and varying shades of grey, while the other is relatively understated, merely utilizing navy and black. Both iterations sport black brims and multiple 3D Yankees logos, The former version offers multiple colors of the logos, while the latter boasts only white.

The hats will launch via BEAMS’ web store and physical outposts in March for ¥6,480 JPY, approximately $60 USD.

Most recently, BEAMS linked up with Dr. Martens and PORTER for two very different collaborative drops.
