The Weeknd Performs "Heartless" for First Time Ever on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'
Kicking off the first of two special nights of music at the late-night talk show.
After delivering a Hunter S. Thompson-inspired visual for “Heartless,” The Weeknd recently stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform the lead track off his highly-anticipated album.
Kicking off the first of two special nights of music at the late-night talk show, the mind-bending live rendition kicks off with Stephen Colbert introducing The Weeknd who is nowhere to be found. After the host walks off confused, the camera moves behind stage revealing the artist enjoying a drink and making his way through the corridors. As the music picks up, The Weeknd trades his drink for a mic as he begins to perform the song and show his Michael Jackson-inspired dance skills. Following a series of trippy moving wall shots, The Weeknd eventually makes his way in front of the audience to end his performance.
