Stray Rats' Joker-Themed New Balance Collaboration Drops Today (UPDATE)
Available at Lower East Coast, Miami.
UPDATE (December 9, 2019): Stray Rats has announced via an Instagram post that its Joker-themed collaboration with DC Comics and New Balance will be available today at 12PM EST at the Lower East Coast store in Miami. The capsule will then be released online subsequently some time this week.
The announcement also came along with a teaser image of the rest of the capsule, featuring a comic-styled graphic-heavy T-shirt as well as a branded black sweatpant. Take a closer look down below, and be sure to head over to Lower East Coast today.
ORIGINAL STORY (November 27, 2019): Originally teased by founder Julian Consuegra, Stray Rats has now teased its upcoming collaboration with DC Comics and New Balance.
Continuing to pay homage to the Joker, Stray Rats has applied colors associated with the Clown Prince of Crime on the 990v3 model once again. The shoe features a black mesh base accented by fitting green and purple suede overlays. Additional detailing comes in the form of reflective 3M hits and New Balance branding at the midfoot, tongue and rear. A Joker motif also appears on the co-branded insoles.
