Columbia Limited Edition Star Wars Challenger Jackets
Choose between the light side and the dark.
To celebrate the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, outdoor apparel brand Columbia has teamed up with Star Wars to release two limited edition Challenger Jackets.
Dubbed the Force Edition, the new collaboration comes in two colorways representing the two sides of the force: light and dark, Rebel Alliance and the Empire. The former comes dressed in a white outer shell with a light blue inner lining, coupled with an array of Jedi detailing such as a schematic print of Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber, the markings from Luke’s X-Wing Starfighter, and the phrase “May the force be with you” written in Aurebresh. While the Empire version is clad in black with a red lining, adorned with various nods to the Sith such as Darth Vader’s lightsaber, the Sith Lord’s vehicle number for the Death Star, and the phrase “You underestimate the power of the dark side” also emblazoned in Aurebresh.
Both jackets take on the Challenger silhouette from Columbia, constructed with a waterproof yet breathable shell with synthetic insulation, as well as a mesh sleeve pocket, zip hand pockets, a kangaroo pouch, and a side-entry zip. The hoods, cuffs, and hem are all adjustable for the perfect fit.
For the outdoorsmen and Star Wars fans out there, both colorways of Columbia’s Challenger Jacket Star Wars Force Edition is now available exclusively in-store at its London Carnaby Street branch, as well as online on the company’s website.
