Popeyes has got into the festive spirit this season with the unveiling of its chicken sandwich-inspired Christmas sweater. The collectible piece follows on from the fast-food chain’s take on the duct-taped banana Comedian seen at this year’s Art Basel Miami, as well as the hysteria-inducing announcement that it would be bringing back its chicken sandwich earlier this year.
In celebration of the chicken sandwich and this year’s festivities, Popeyes has made an Ugly Christmas Sweater adorned with Christmas trees, snowflakes, the restaurant’s branding and, most notably, a repeated strip of its most sought-after snack. The unisex piece is made from knitted cotton and acrylic, and channels its household favorite’s color scheme with stripes of white, orange and red.
