'The Flash' 2022 Release Date Announced
After a series of changes and delays.

The long-awaited standalone movie for the fastest man on earth has finally received an official release date. Announcing its release schedule for the near future, Warner Bros. has revealed that The Flash will hit cinemas July 1, 2022. The film as been plagued in recent months by various changes and delays, but it appears that it go forward now.
The Flash will see actor Ezra Miller reprise his role as the Scarlet Speedster, as well as penning the script for a much darker take on the superhero. It and It: Chapter Two director Andy Muschietti will be acting as director, while his sister Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco will be producing. Joining Miller on the script will be Birds of Prey writer Christina Hodson.
At this time, not much more information has been announced, so fans of The Flash or DC Comics should definitely stay tuned as more updates are due to come.
Elsewhere in entertainment, The Matrix 4 will premiere on the same day as John Wick 4.
