Diptyque steps into an “Enchanted Forest” for its 2026 Holiday Collection, imagining a winter world where carved creatures stir to life beneath a star-filled night sky. Created in collaboration with French designer and craftsman Jean-Simon Roch, the collection transforms wood into an animated, kinetic ballet of forest fauna and flora under a starry winter sky.
At the center of that olfactory forest is “Sapin,” Diptyque’s returning seasonal Pine Tree fragrance. Siberian fir and balsam fir give the scent the cool green snap of freshly cut branches, while cedarwood adds the dry warmth of bark and timber and moss settles underneath like a damp forest floor. Together, the notes conjure the moment a tree is first carried indoors: resin clinging to the hands, cold outdoor air still caught between its needles, then gradually warming beside candlelight.
That scent story expands into Classic, Small and Very Large candles, an “Advent” taper shaped like a pine tree, a scented oval, miniature room spray and even Jean-Simon Roch’s hand-turned perfumed wooden spinning top, which releases Sapin as it moves. Elsewhere, “Feu de Bois” evokes a crackling hearth through a sculptural 2.5kg wax tree stump, while scented wax rabbits, owls and acorns bring traces of “Santal,” “Baies” and “Ambre” into the collection’s miniature woodland cast.
The packaging carries the same story into physical form. “Sapin” candles arrive in deep green lacquered glass scattered with gold stars and introduce a wooden interpretation of Diptyque’s signature oval label, while the Very Large edition moves into hand-enamelled ceramic with individually painted stars. The house’s “Orphéon,” “Do Son” and “Eau Rose” 75ml eaux de parfum are similarly recast for the season with glittering gold lettering over black wooden oval labels, joined by larger 200ml editions of “Do Son,” “Fleur de Peau” and “Orphéon.”
Even the Advent Calendar is conceived like a wood-turner’s toolbox, opening onto 25 fragrances, candles, body-care pieces and home objects as though revealing drawers in an artisan’s workshop. The collection rolls out through Diptyque’s boutiques, counters and online store this holiday season, with festive in-store programming beginning October 20, 2026.
