Diptyque is reimagining its emblematic Orphéon fragrance with the launch of a new Eau de Toilette, accompanied by complementary fragrance gestures and decorative objects.
Originally introduced as an Eau de Parfum in 2021, Orphéon paid tribute to the vibrant jazz club adjacent to the Maison’s first boutique at 34 Boulevard Saint‑Germain. While the original focused on a relaxed, woody atmosphere, the new Eau de Toilette, imagined by Natalie Cetto, captures the “citrus-tinged effervescence” of a night just beginning. The scent opens with a vibrant burst of green tangerine and Japanese yuzu, transitioning into a floral heart of rose and magnolia before settling into a pulsing base of woody cedar and musk, creating a balanced, luminous fragrance that evokes the spirit of Parisian nightlife.
Alongside the Eau de Toilette, Diptyque introduces three new fragrance gestures designed to extend the Orphéon experience into daily rituals. The Scented Body Lotion, inspired by the contours of wooden furniture, moisturizes while leaving a delicate sheen on the skin. The Perfumed Hair Mist enriches hair with camellia oil while layering the Orphéon scent, and the Perfumed Hand Cream provides nourishment and softness in a convenient travel format. These gestures reflect Diptyque’s philosophy of translating fragrance into tactile, everyday luxuries, offering versatility and intimacy beyond traditional perfumery.
Complementing these are unique porcelain pieces, such as candle stands, lids and panoramic trays, each featuring fluid, hypnotic motifs created through a meticulous hand-casting process. These objects are designed to engage in a subtle game of light and shadow, inviting users to experience the flamboyant, free-spirited atmosphere of Saint-Germain-des-Prés within their own homes. Prices range from $55 – $260 USD for the fragrances, with the new Eau de Toilette retailing at $195 USD. The collection will be available worldwide via Diptyque’s webstore and physical boutiques starting February 18, 2026.
