AIAIAI and HIDDEN.NY Are Back With New Headphones and Speakers
Dropping alongside a campaign featuring Lil Yachty – and available now via HBX.
AIAIAI and HIDDEN.NY have come together for a second time, dropping a new headphones and speakers duo alongside a campaign fronted by Lil Yachty and shot by Gunner Stahl.
The brands first collaborated last year and their latest partnership builds on a “shared passion for translucent technology,” with both the TMA-2 Move headphones and UNIT-4 speakers featuring semi-transparent details in a clear nod to a design trend that dominated the ’90s.
The “TMA-2 Hidden Edition” headphones arrive in primarily white and translucent grey with hits of HIDDEN.NY’s signature green throughout. The bottom half of the headphones’ frame and both earcups are given the see-through treatment, while the upper portion of the frame and the earpad cushions are white. Subtle branding can be found in green. They feature Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and a battery capable of over 40 hours of playback.
Meanwhile, the “UNIT-4 Hidden Edition” speakers are almost entirely translucent, with the top and side panels crafted in the style, and complimented by white metal front grills covered in small circular perforations. The HIDDEN.NY logo appears in green on the front of the speakers, with green also being used for the buttons found on the top of them. The portable UNIT-4 – which we reviewed here – are portable active studio monitors that feature Bluetooth 5.2, are battery powered (with an impressive 77Wh battery for 20 hours of playback in each speaker), and a customizable 5-band EQ that can be accessed via a dedicated app.
Both the headphones and speakers are available now via HBX.
