New Balance Gets Bold & Bright With "Multicolor" & "Blue/White/Rose" 992 Sneakers
Releasing in early 2020.

New Balance continues its run of bold, retro-inspired sneakers with the release of two multicolored 992s. Both colorways are set to drop in early 2020 and come in the colorways “Multicolor” and “Blue/White/Rose,” with its various shades encompassing the multitude of overlapping suede and mesh panels.
The “Multicolor” iteration is one of New Balance’s boldest offerings in recent times, utilizing colors including orange, blue, red, green, yellow, white, purple and more. Its C-CAP compression-molded EVA midsole complete with Ndurance technology has been highlighted using semi-transparent rubber segments, with the rear heel piece sporting the imprint’s moniker.
On the heel, you can find a retro ’90s-indebted USA stamp noting New Balance’s Made in USA lineage, while tonal branding on the tongue rounds off this bright offering. For the pastel-toned “Blue/White/Rose” iteration, New balance adds a unique blue-and-white stripe on the rear-quarter towards the opening of the sneaker.
Pastel hues are continued throughout the shoe, with teal blue working the lower-mid sections, a truer blue on the mid-panel and vamp, and dusty pink dominating the mesh segments. Rounding out this colorway is a touch of off white, which can be seen on the heel and sole unit.
