adidas' Forthcoming Pokémon Sneaker Features an 8-Bit Pikachu

Earlier this year we were given an on-foot look at the adidas Originals x Pokémon Campus sneaker featuring the franchise’s main mascot, Pikachu. Now it looks like the Three Stripes and the famed Japanese anime have another silhouette in store, this time featuring Pikachu in an 8-bit makeover.
The first look at the forthcoming collaborative adidas Advantage comes via @US_11, which features a mostly fresh white leather upper and Three Stripes perforations on the medial and lateral sides. The pixellated Pikachu then comes in on the lateral heel, while other pixellated first-gen Pokémon, such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Cubone, Vaporeon, and many more, can be seen on the inner liner. Finally co-branded tongue tabs and insoles round out the overall look of the sneaker, along with a contrasting black adidas-branded heel tab.
Fans can expect the adidas Advantage to release soon at select retailers and adidas’ online store. Keep it locked here for an official release date and photos.
