HUMAN MADE Crafts High Oz. Leather Biker Jacket for FW19
Steeped in vintage Americana.
After collaborating with Futura on a T-shirt capsule, HUMAN MADE is back with its latest FW19 outerwear piece — the Leather Riders Jacket.
The new biker jacket is made up of thick cow leather and has been distressed for a retro look and feel. It comes with a dark olive base color, likened to that of vintage military surplus, complemented by dark brass and silver-tone hardware. Starting at the top, the piece comes with standard epaulets, followed by spread collars below, all of which are secured by black press-stud buttons.
The central zip, mid-body zip and waist pockets are made by Talon, while the small pouch near the hem sees a “HUMAN MADE”-branded silver-tone button flap closure. At the back of the piece, a large graphic print of the label’s recurring hamburger motif is emblazoned with the phrase “ALL THE AIR COMES OUT THE BUN.” Other details like weathered seams and a diamond-quilted inner lining give this hefty garment an aged aesthetic that still feels premium.
