Maurice Lacroix Adds Moonphase to New Masterpiece Retrograde Watch
A lot of watch for $5,000 USD.
Saignelégier-based (Canton of Jura, Switzerland) watchmakers Maurice Lacroix have just released a new Masterpiece Retrograde watch. Packing a tremendous amount of value in a 43mm case, the watch now features a retrograde date/day and moon phase that is combined with the customary hours, minutes and sub-seconds display.
The entire watch is beautifully finished with details like a sandblasted hour track, a Clous de Paris guilloché pattern inside the 150° retrograde displays (silver dial), a snailed and Côtes de Genêve pattern (blue dial), polished and chamfered surfaces, and rhodium finishing.
Powered by the automatic manufacture ML292 movement, the Moonphase Masterpiece Retrograde watch is good for 36 hours when fully wound, and is water resistant up to 100 meters. Priced at $5,000 USD, this watch encompasses a lot of interesting complications that are often found in watches at a higher price point. Those interested can head over to Maurice Lacroix for the full specs and availability.
