Chance the Rapper Cancels Rescheduled 2020 Tour
“It’s for the best.”

Chance the Rapper has canceled “The Big Tour” — the previously postponed run of dates that followed the birth of his second daughter. Chance initially delayed the tour to 2020 in September, rescheduling a slew of dates alongside Lil Yachty and brother Taylor Bennett.
“I know it sucks and its been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best,” he wrote via Instagram. “I’m gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date. I’m deeply sorry to anyone with a ticket who has supported me this past decade by coming to a show and rocking out with me and I feel even worse for anyone who was planning on making this their first Chance concert.” You can read his full statement via the embed below.
Chance’s debut album The Big Day was met with a slew of fan backlash earlier this year, with many offloading negative comments about how it failed to live up to the standards of previous projects Acid Rap and Coloring Book.
