Acne Studios Drops Buzz Mesh Low-Top Sneakers in Gold and Fluorescent-Tinged Colorways
Lightweight and runner-inspired.

After releasing a clunky pair of FW19 Trekking Boots, Acne Studios has switched things up with a sleek lightweight footwear piece: featured is the Buzz Mesh Low-Top in vivid gold and fluorescent-tinged colorways
Coming in a mix of mesh, leather and rubber, the shoes bear a distinctive mold with a look and feel of a technical running silhouette. The first colorway sees an all-gold treatment, covering the entire shoe in rich textural shades. Shiny leather accents are applied to the upper eyelet panels as well as a set of overlays placed throughout the body. A suede eyelet panel appears at the forefoot, sitting over a semi-translucent nylon body that’s been reinforced with subtle batting. Suede textiles are placed at the heel counter, complemented by a short pull tab, while “Acne Studios” branding is printed at the rear quarter. All of these details sit atop a tonal rubber midsole with angular ridges and an articulated footbed.
The other colorway comes with the same features as the aforementioned sneaker, except accented with fluorescent lime highlights on a cream-white foundation. As a finishing note, the shoes see a thin outsole made up of contrasting rubber layers of black and pink.
Both Acne Studios Buzz Mesh Low-Top Sneakers are currently available at Moda Operandi’s website for $410 USD.
Elsewhere, No Vacancy Inn and New Balance have released their collaborative 850 model.
