No Vacancy Inn and New Balance Release 850 Collab
A reincarnation of the “WATER & WIFI” colorway
Back in July, No Vacancy Inn’s Tremaine Emory and Brock Korsan alluded to a cream-colored New Balance 650 that was in the works. While that particular version remains in the wind, the NVI team and New Balance have unveiled release information for two new colorways of the 850 model. Continuing with the “WATER & WIFI” theme, the thought process behind the first colorway was to offer up another iteration of the super limited 990v3 that dropped back in May. The shoe consists of mesh navy blue panels overlaid with gray suede and topped off with red accents. The footwear’s other colorway embraces predominately light gray hues paying tribute to the original 990. Both versions include red laces paying homage to Steve Jobs and highlight collaborative branding along the tongue and insoles.
The sneakers are available for an early release this Saturday, Dec. 14 at Los Angeles’ Arcana Books and will be slated for a wider release at Dover Street Market and other retailers on Dec. 21.
