Medicom Toy's “BE@RBRICK PLANET” Exhibition Features Mega-Sized Centerpiece
At Changsha IFS Tower T1 in China.
Medicom Toy is currently holding an exhibition in China. The installation is dubbed “BE@RBRICK PLANET” and is taking place at the Changsha IFS Tower T1 in Changsha, Hunan, running through all of the holiday season.
The theme of the exhibition surrounds the concept of “cultural immersion.” Sitting as the centerpiece of the event is a towering BE@RBRICK coming in a glossy white base, accented by red-orange paint depicting a crayfish, an appropriate nod to Changsha, which the city is known for. In addition to the giant BE@RBRICK, 52 different 1000%-sized figures is on view. There’s also limited-edition items available for purchase, particularly a 400% & 100% version of the aforementioned crayfish-inspired BE@RBRICK, while other Christmas-themed exclusives like tote bags, cups and phone cases round up the concise range.
Medicom Toy’s “BE@RBRICK PLANET” Exhibition is currently on view and will run through until December 31.
Elsewhere, Porsche and Lucasfilm have collaborated on the Star Wars Tri-Wing S-91x Pegasus Starfighter design.
