MAGIC STICK and DOUBLE FOOT WEAR Drop Sneaker-Inspired Leather Chukkas
Hand-crafted in Tokyo.

Back in October, MAGIC STICK collaborated with Verdy‘s WASTED YOUTH on a special capsule for Harajuku Day festival. This time around, the Tokyo-based imprint has collaborated with DOUBLE FOOT WEAR, unveiling a set of handmade leather chukkas imbued with sneaker-inspired features.
Coming in soft beige and grey colorways, each sneaker is made up of delicate suede and has been hand-crafted by leather artisans from Asakusa, Tokyo, an area with a rich history in leathermaking. Beginning at the top of the sneakers, the upper collars have been reinforced with smooth leather piping, complemented by bold round laces tied together by an adjustable button clamp. The heel counter is emblazoned with a bright-red fluorescent panel, complemented by jagged seams at the sidewalls — the lateral sides come with a thin neon strip beside the seam. All of these details sit atop a light brown crepe midsole, rounding up the rugged sneaker-inspired chukkas.
Though no official release dates have been disclosed, the MAGIC STICK x DOUBLE FOOT WEAR shoes are slated to release mid-December for $257 USD at magicstick-xxx.com. Stay tuned for more news on the upcoming release.
Elsewhere, BILLY’s and ASICS have revamped the GEL-Kayano 5 OG with a nebulous “Jupiter” colorway.
