Ant Clemons has been working in the background with some of hip-hop’s biggest acts for quite some time — he’s graced his sound and songwriting for years on projects from Kanye West, Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Childish Gambino, YBN Cordae, and more. Yet now he seems to be stepping out of that bubble, bolstering his own solo career with a brand new track alongside Ty Dolla $ign titled “Excited.”

Continuing to exude his melodious blend of rapping and singing, Clemons provides his silky smooth mantra in his signature way, glued together with Ty Dolla $ign’s unmistakable style. Riding over production from House of Vibe and Travis James, the silky-smooth cut sees the two talking about the excitement of love and relationships. Within the video, Clemons walks around as he’s pulled in various directions towards the female he crushes over.

You can watch the video for “Excited” above.

For more, Clemons was recently featured on Kanye West’s Jesus Is King.
