Modernica Releases Limited Futura Laboratories x Alchemist Art Café Side Shell Chairs

Art Basel Miami Beach 2019 came to a close this past weekend, but the exclusive releases continue with a Modernica collaboration. The furniture imprint produced a limited collection of its Side Shell Eiffel chairs for the Alchemist Art Café that was open during the art fair in the Florida capital. The household item portrays signature artwork by Futura, portraying his Pointman characters holding coffee cups in gestural forms.
The fiberglass chairs are now available for purchase on Modernica’s website for $595 USD each. Only 50 have been made.
Elsewhere in design, Berluti presented 17 original furniture pieces by Pierre Jeannette at Art Basel Miami Beach 2019.
