eBay Eliminates Sneaker Seller Fees, Announces Collaboration with Stadium Goods
The platforms will drop 2019’s most hyped pairs throughout the month of December.

In 2019 alone, around six million total sneakers were sold on eBay, and there are almost 1.5 million live sneaker listings on the site right now. In an effort to further support a community that thrives off its platform, eBay recently announced that it has eliminated selling fees for customers in North America on any sneakers sold at $100 USD or more.
To reap the benefits of these new savings, simply list a pair of kicks as usual, and eBay will recognize if the seller fee should be removed or not. Keep in mind that the “Adult Athletics Shoes” category must be selected in order to be considered.
“For our community of diehard sneakerheads, eliminating selling fees allows them to turn their kicks into more cash to fund future purchases, and results in a more robust sneaker inventory for shoppers everywhere,” says Jeff Chan, eBay’s Head of Men’s Footwear and Apparel.
In conjunction with the eliminated seller fees, eBay has dubbed the month of December the “month of drops.” Over the next few weeks, the platform will be collaborating with Stadium Goods to celebrate some of the most hyped sneakers of the year. This week is the “Week of Sneaks,” where eBay will drop a different YEEZY BOOST 700 colorway daily at 12PM EST on its Instagram page. Each pair will be offered $215 USD, which is below retail price. See the release calendar below.
