A Closer Look at the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG
Is it too early for a shoe of the year selection?

Following a successful Air Jordan 4 collaboration and a recent take on the Air Jordan 33, recording artist Travis Scott and Jordan Brand are set to outdo themselves with their next drop. For quite some time, we’ve seen the rager wear an Air Jordan 1 with a reversed Swoosh logo during his ASTROWORLD: Wish You Wear Here tour and elsewhere. Following the pair’s shock drop during his Grammy performance, we take a closer look at the sneaker before its wider release in April.
The silhouette sees a mix of tumbled sail-colored leather and buttery suede treated in dark mocha on its under- and over- lays respectively. Its Swoosh logos, laces and ankle entry are all done in black, while the heels sport debossed “sicko” motifs. What’s more is that the collaborative sneaker features a small stash pocket that wraps around the ankle. Sealed by velcro, its interior is drenched in university red to match the Cactus Jack tab on the side of each tongue.
Rumored to arrive on April 26 for $160 USD at select Jordan Brand stockists, take a closer look at what some are considering an early favorite for sneaker of the year. If you’re not interested in waiting for the wider release, you can hit Flight Club to cop a pair now.
