Take an Official Look at the sacai x Nike LDV Waffle Daybreak Trainers

Arguably one of the most sought-after sneakers that are making its comeback this year is Nike‘s resurfaced Daybreak silhouette, with both sacai and UNDERCOVER creating unique interpretations of the old school classic. Last month we received word on the official release date of the upcoming sacai x Nike LDV Waffle Daybreak trainers, arriving in two distinct colorways. Now, we have an official look and full details regarding the release of the hyped 2019 collaboration.
The two upcoming colorways, one being the “Green Gusto/Black-Varsity Maize-Safety Orange” and the other coming in “Varsity Blue/Del Sol-Varsity Red-Black,” are seen to showcase a traditional material blend of the sneaker with some added extras. Suede marks the heel, mudguard, and lacing regions, with more leather layered in the same regions as well as the layered Swooshes. The upper’s majority is made up of a breathable mesh, met with a double-layered tongue and two stacked laces, finally being met with the unique EVA-foam protrusion on the midsole.
