BAPE Douses Seasonal Essentials in New "ABC CAMO FLOWER" Pattern
A twist on the timeless camouflage pattern elevates select Spring 2020 gear.
Along with its new Spring/Summer 2020 goods, BAPE has several more special drops in store for the new year, including a special assortment emblazoned a revision of the Japanese brand’s timeless camouflage. The APE HEAD-rich ABC Camo is receiving a Spring-ready update by way of the new “ABC CAMO FLOWER” capsule.
BAPE’s ABC CAMO is one of the label’s most recognizable, with a generous distribution of APE HEAD logos interspersed amidst the dense camouflage graphic, compared to the relatively toned-down FIRST CAMO. The “ABC CAMO FLOWER” capsule rearranges the print with sunny aplomb, drawing inspiration from ’70s hues. Ostensibly a womenswear capsule, the assortment includes a variety of slouchy, genderless items, including a field jacket, SHARK hoodie, logo-emblazoned long-sleeved shirts and strappy shoulder bag. Offered in both psychedlic tones and a more muted olive palette, both iterations of the new pattern are bolstered by bright flowers, as the name implies, to drive home the seasonal motif.
Look for the bold items to hit BAPE’s website and global flagships beginning on January 4, with further “ABC Camo Flower” drops to follow later in the season.
