Blumhouse's 'Fantasy Island' Turns Dreams Into Violent Realities
A horror reimagining of the classic series.
Blumhouse Productions has shared the first trailer for Fantasy Island, a reimagining of the classic ABC series that aired from 1977 to 1984.
The revamp sees Ant-Man star Michael Peña taking over Ricardo Montalbán’s role of Mr. Roarke, the enigmatic island owner who turns his customers’ fantasies into violent realities. Joining in on the island fun is Lucy Hale who plays Melanie, a young girl whose fantasy is to get revenge on her high school bully, Maggie Q of Nikita, Portia Doubleday of Mr. Robot, Jimmy O. Yang of Silicon Valley, Ryan Hansen of Veronica Mars and Michael Rooker of The Walking Dead and Guardians of the Galaxy.
