SiR Reconnects with Kadhja Bonet for "New Sky" Video
The TDE singer-songwriter continues to support his recent LP.
One month after linking up with Sabrina Claudio for the “That’s Why I Love You” visual, SiR is reconnecting with Kadhja Bonet for a music video in support of their Chasing Summer collaboration “New Sky.” SiR also helped direct the clip for “New Sky,” having served as a a co-director alongside HaitianEV; AJR Films and TDE Films are credited as the production outfits behind the presentation.
“I’m confident in what I say. That comes from me just taking hella time with this stuff. I take time when I know there’s something there and I want to say something. I really want to mean it,” SiR recently told Billboard, opening up about his songwriting and creative process. “For years and years, I would just sit and write without the intention of releasing, just so I can figure out how I should write or what I want my writing to be. A lot of people don’t spend too much time just developing. I did my own personal artist development and I’m happy I had the right people around me to help cultivate my style … I’m definitely confident in my songwriting.
“My mother is a songwriter, and she likes songs that she can really digest and read and understand and I do a great job of that because of her,” SiR added.” I guess that’s where I get it come from because her writing style is very similar to mine. She’s very articulate with how she speaks on songs.”
