Towards the end of last month, acclaimed singer-songwriter SiR delivered his second studio album for TDE, Chasing Summer. The anticipated follow-up to his 2018 project November, Chasing Summer gave listeners 14 new soulful grooves to digest, with additional contributions coming courtesy of Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Smino and others. Now, continuing to support his latest full-length release, the multi-talented California artist is revisiting the effort for his latest visual. Specifically, SiR is reconnecting with Sabrina Claudio for a Daniel Russell-directed music video for their Chasing Summer highlight “That’s What I Love You.”

According to SiR, his real-life experiences as a busy, popular touring artist and the complications that came with this latest chapter of his life informed the theme and narrative of Chasing Summer records like “That’s What I Love You.”

“Me being a married man and me being an artist that’s on the road constantly, I deal with temptation,” SiR shared with DJ Booth. “I try my best to be as right as possible, and I have a good team around me that helps, but I still have things happen. I feel like writing about it is the best way to get things off my chest. Sometimes, I’m not telling my exact truth because I like to keep some of my privacy. I try to be as honest as possible with the things that I’m seeing.”
