Summer Walker Would Rather be Alone in "Playing Games" Video
The song is from her hit debut album, ‘Over It.’
It’s been a big week for Summer Walker, who is already projected to have the No. 1 album on the Billboard charts after the release of her debut project, Over It, last Friday. Now, the new-age R&B darling is keeping the momentum going by sharing the official video for “Playing Games,” her recent single featuring Bryson Tiller.
The moody visuals were directed by Christine Yuan and produced by Theodore Cabana. Walker is clearly fed-up with her suitors throughout the flick as she passes up answering the door and even ties one of them up while singing her sentimental lyrics. While Tiller doesn’t make an actual appearance, his verse finishes off the spot before Walker chooses herself, opting for an evening of playing video games.
Outside of dropping Over It, the songstress joined Jhené Aiko earlier this month for the “Triggered (Remix)” with 21 Savage. Most recently, Drake — who features on Walker’s hit record “Girls Need Love (Remix)” – said her album inspired him to write two new songs.
