JAHNKOY and PUMA Deliver Folk Art-Inspired Collection
Centered around the Alteration and RS-X Knit silhouettes.

New York-based Russian artist JAHNKOY and PUMA have joined forces for a folk art-inspired collection, consisting of new takes on the PUMA Alteration and the PUMA RS-X Knit sneakers plus matching apparel. JAHNKOY’s practice is centered around using cultural heritage in a proactive manner, so this collection appropriately filters it through a streetwear lens, creating pieces that are both intricately crafted and meaningfully designed.
Things are kicked off in vibrant fashion by the RS-X Knit, which provides a heavy dose of textile overlays plus colorful red, green and yellow prints. There’s also traditional tassels constructed from recycled materials, and a signature wordmark on the midfoot. The Alteration is more toned-down, using a white, black and tan color scheme. Its signature details arrive via embroidered patterns and graphics, including the colorful roses that grace the upper. A hopeful “Forward” hit is stamped on the heel for an extra visual punch.
Accenting both footwear options, the apparel line-up includes key pieces like reversible bomber jackets, sleek track jackets and bold polo shirts. There’s also branded tees, hats and a backpack with a detachable waist bag. Each piece features JAHNKOY and “Forward” hits along with more all-over print graphics, bolstered by impactful details like tassel-equipped zippers arriving in abundance as well.
The complete collection is available now via PUMA’s webstore and retailers like atmos. Prices range from $40 USD for a visor to $400 USD for the reversible bomber while the RS-X Knit sneaker is priced at $170 USD and the Alteration arrives at $160 USD.
