Davido Joins Popcaan for New 'A Good TIme' Visual & Single "Risky"
The two superstars connect in London for their latest video.
Following a string of headlining performances at festivals across the globe, award-winning Afrobeat icon Davido is teaming up with fast-rising star Popcaan for a new music video and single known as “Risky.”
The aforementioned pairing’s new joint offering serves as a preview of Davido’s forthcoming full-length album A Good Time, which will hit streaming services and similar platforms next month. Notably, “Risky” was produced by previous Davido collaborator Speroach Beatz, while its visual component was put together by popular director Meji Alabi. The “Risky” vignette was filmed in London, and is also billed as a tribute to Ronan Bennett’s renowned British TV series Top Boy.
“One December I went to Nigeria, and I saw how the culture was and the music. It was 2010 and I fell in love with Nigerian music,” Davido revealed to us earlier this year, opening up about the origins of his artistry for an April edition of our MIC/LINE podcast series. “Fell in love with entertainment. I fell in love with the whole thing. I was like…I want to be a part of this.”

Davido’s next studio album A Good Time will see release on November 11 via Davido Worldwide Entertainment/Sony Music U.K./RCA Records and is currently available for pre-order.
Towards the beginning of this year, Davido linked up with Casanova and Tory Lanez for another high-profile visual and collaborative single, “2AM.”
