After a series of tiger motifs and an iridescent print from the ’80s, the Gucci Rhyton sneaker has surfaced in yet another artistic colorway. This time around, the Italian label has given the retro kicks a clean ivory leather upper marked with a painterly graphic of waves along both lateral sides.
The water imagery on the shoe is stacked with shades of blue, turquoise and teal, providing a crisp contrast against the cream-toned exterior. Gucci branding is printed atop the tongue patch and embossed across the back heel, while tonal laces keep the overall look of the shoe streamlined, placing the emphasis squarely upon the bold graphic. The shoe’s usual thick outsole completes the design with a sturdy foundation.
Gucci’s “Rhyton Leather Sneaker with Wave” is priced at $890 USD and available now at Gucci’s web store.
Elsewhere, the brand delivered an eccentric neon colorway of its Flashtrek sneaker.
