Only NY Drops Capsule Inspired by Brooklyn Museum's History of Logos & Designs
Including T-shirts, tote bags and more.
Last month, NOAH joined the Whitney Museum for a brightly-colored hoodie capsule designed to reflect the diversity of New York. This time, Only NY is teaming up with the Brooklyn Museum for a special range of graphic T-shirts, hats, tote bags and a mug.
Only NY was granted access to exhibition posters and memorabilia that the Brooklyn Museum collected or commissioned over its near 200-year history. Taking inspiration from past and present exhibitions, Only NY captures the museum’s rich history with a new selection of apparel and accessories that update the museum’s logos, branding and design ephemera.
Blue and white T-shirts sport “The Brooklyn Museum” in a stylized font, while softer, pastel-colored shirts feature sphinx graphics and triangle designs. Tote bags, available in white and black colorways, are covered with the same prints. Only NY worked with the museum’s archives and merchandising team to create a capsule collection that reflects contemporary aesthetics while still respecting the art institution’s impactful past.
