Full Lineup Announced for ROLL & BOUNCE FES, a New Cultural Festival Curated by SIRUP
Set for November 3 across three venues, including Harakado and Omokado, featuring live performances, DJs, talk shows, beat-making sessions, and silk screening.
The full lineup has been announced for ROLL & BOUNCE FES, a new cultural festival spearheaded by R&B artist SIRUP and culture producer/marketer Namiko Yamazaki.
Rooted in Black culture, ROLL & BOUNCE aims to be an intersection of music, fashion, community, and dialogue. The event will offer a cross-generational and cross-genre cultural experience centered around a variety of music, including R&B, Hip Hop, SOUL, JAZZ, and POPS. Admission is free, with live performances requiring an advance lottery drawing.
The live stage will feature performances by Crystal Kay, JASMINE, JAY’ED, reina, Sala, VivaOla, and Taichi Mukai, as well as curator SIRUP, aimi, Emi Maria, idom, MALIYA, ROKA, and ZIN. The DJ program includes sets by DJ HASEBE, DJ KOMORI, MURO, and YonYon.
Furthermore, the Hip Hop floor curated by producer/DJ KM will feature live performances by ISSUGI and Lil’ Leise But Gold, along with DJ sets by 4Lon, Aru-2, and MURO. On the 3rd floor of Harakado, there will be talk shows featuring Kiyoshi Matsuo, SAKURA, SIRUP, and Ryusuke Kelly, as well as beat-making workshops with A.G.O, KM, Sam is Ohm, Shin Sakiura, and Taka Perry.
Additionally, the event will host a silk-screening workshop where attendees can create official merchandise, and a jam session where musicians will create music live on the spot. The jam session will feature FR WIFI, Skaai, Nao Kawamura, and Atsushi Inoue.
Ahead of the event, Spotify is hosting an official playlist featuring selections from each performing artist. This allows attendees to connect with the artists’ musical roots and current moods, not just on the day of the event.
ROLL & BOUNCE FES will take place on Tuesday, November 3 (a national holiday) from 12:00 to 21:00. It promises to be a day where attendees can roam the venues and experience the expansive culture that stems from music.
