A. Lange & Söhne has just announced its first-ever sport watch — The Odysseus. The 40.5mm watch strays from A. Lange’s traditional dress watches, offering a model that’s made for weekend sporting activities like hiking, swimming, and even sailing.
The three-part watch features a textured dark-blue dial with white-gold indexes, both a day and date display function, and a small seconds subdial at the 6 o’clock position. The bracelet can also make micro adjustments up to total of 7mm. In keeping with A. Lange & Söhne’s attention to detail with regards to movement design, the Odysseus is equipped with a new calibre L155.1 DATOMATIC which offers 50 hours of power reserve and is dressed with an ornate finish and platinum rotor.
Those looking for a sportier automatic watch to add to their collection can find the A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus over at alange-soehne.com for a price of €28,000 EUR ($28,800 USD if you’re based in the States).
