HAVEN Drops Utilitarian FW19 Polartec Capsule
High Loft™-insulated.
Having just hosted its Tokyo pop-up, HAVEN is back to showcase its latest FW19 range, this time imbedded with functional Polartec materials.
The concise capsule consists of a neck gaiter, a zip-up jacket and a pair of fleece pants. Each garment is lined with High Loft™ insulation, which was specifically chosen for its optimized thermal retention, due to its unique fiber structures that allow large air pockets to form. The fabric is both soft and packable and it has the highest warmth-to-weight percentage among all the Polartec® fleece textiles.
The warm textiles have been mixed with sleek black Japanese micro ripstop panels for enhanced functionality. Starting with the Neck Gaiter, a thin strip of nylon appears around the upper back collars, complemented by adjustable drawstrings. The next piece is the Mountain Utility Jacket, which comes with a batted shell around the front body. Packing five tonal pouches and three zipper pockets, the piece sees a silver-toned YKK Excella central zip that offsets the dark shades. Lastly, the Mountain Pant features adjustable cinching and sturdy nylon cording, finishing off the hi-tech assemblage.
