Shortly after releasing its two-in-one military rucksack, Japanese folk label KAPITAL is back with its latest drop — the 12.5oz Denim Mexican Tuxedo 5P OKAGILLY.

Coming in dark, unwashed denim, the jeans are part of KAPITAL KOUNTRY, a line from the label that reworks former KAPITAL silhouettes by experimenting with details like distresses and new dyes. This particular piece is inspired by the heritage of Mexican festivals, embroidering wide bone motifs that are sewn over the sides. Upon closer inspection, the embroidery features an intricate pattern drawn from traditional weaving techniques. And the pants have also been slightly tapered for a more fitted look. As a finishing touch, the jeans come with a small back cinch, held down by bronze rivets to match the piece’s orange top-stitching.

The KAPITAL 12.5oz Denim Mexican Tuxedo 5P OKAGILLY is currently available at kapital-webshop.jp for $332 USD.

Elsewhere, HAVEN has announced a pop-up in Vancouver with THE CONVENI.
