Chemist Creations Experiments with Casio G-SHOCK's DW-5600 Watch
Dubbed the GW-B5600AR-1PRC “Chemical Geeks.”
Continuing to come strong after its launch a few months back, Chemist Creations has now teamed up with Casio G-SHOCK to reimagine the watch purveyor’s DW-5600 model.
Building on its chemistry concept, the result of the collaboration is the GW-B5600AR-1PRC “Chemical Geeks.” The main design on the watch is inspired by equipment commonly found in a laboratory, with information encryption and liquid control markings expressed on the strap and dial design.
The digital dial on the watch features a deep red tone which becomes even more striking when accented by the built-in backlight. The attached black strap has been decorated to replicate the clear guides found on a graduated chemical tube with a 20ml capacity print near the dial and “化學製品” (Chemist Creations in Chinese script). Finally, the back of the watch has been engraved with Chemist Creations and each watch comes in special release package complete with a metal tin and shoulder bag that converts into a larger tote.
