Lil Wayne Drops Limited 'Tha Carter V' Merch
Heron Preston is the first of the 14 designers to be revealed.
Almost immediately after the landmark announcement of Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter V, the rapper has announced a tie-in merch collection. 14 designers will serve up Wayne-related goods and clothing, the first of which is Heron Preston.
Preston’s tee showcases an airbrushed Weezy on the front, with bright pink “THE CARTER V” (sic) branding placed at the center and “HERON PRESTON” at bottom of the shirt. On the rear, the designer recreated the title of the Carter III classic “What’s a Goon to a Goblin” in bold green. The darker shades contrast aggressively with another pink album nod located beneath.
Keep an eye on Lil Wayne’s web store for the drops, which kick off today at 5 PM and last for a mere 24 hours each.
Meanwhile, Preston recently teased a forthcoming Nike collaboration.
