The Remaining 'Dragon Ball Z' x adidas Sneakers Revealed With Release Dates
Vegeta, Son Gohan, Cell, Majin Buu and Shenron’s sneakers on the horizon.
One of the most anticipated — and scarcest — drops of 2018, the adidas x Dragon Ball Z collection is set to kick off soon with Goku and Frieza’s signature shoes. Thanks to Sneaker Bar Detroit, more of the exclusive shoes have received potential release dates.
Like the Goku & Frieza sneakers, several other shoes are set to drop in pairs, recalling classic fights from the anime. First up are the Deerupt “Son Gohan” and Prophere “Cell,” pitting two of adidas’ most recent models against each other. Following that, the recently-teased Kamanda “Majin Buu” faces off with the Ultra Tech “Vegeta” in November, offering up bold blue and yellow hues on the retro runner and pink suede on the newer Kamanda. lastly, Shenron’s duo of EQT Support Mid ADV shoes are set to hit stores last, offering red, green and black tones and detailed textures that reference the mythical dragon’s scales.
“Son Gohan” Vs. “Cell” will arrive on October 27, “Majin Buu” x “Vegeta” are expected to surface in November, and the pair of “Shenron” sneakers will drop in December, completing the entire set of collaborative sneakers.
