The follow-up to 2014’s well-received pom pom, Dedicated to Bobby Jameson was promoted with the release of singles like “Another Weekend,” which also received its own video. With fall almost here, Ariel Pink’s Dedicated to Bobby Jameson has arrived in its full glory.
Comprised of 13 new records, Dedicated to Bobby Jameson is a tribute to the musician that inspired its name and features only one guest feature, which comes courtesy of past Ariel Pink collaborator Dam-Funk. Ariel Pink has said that Bobby Jameson’s work “resonated” with him so strongly that he “felt a need” to dedicate this new project to him, thus keeping his name alive for the current crop of artists and fans.
