After making a musical appearance on Stephen Colbert with Tyler, The Creator earlier this year, Steve Lacy has remerged with a new funk-soaked number called “4real.” Channeling his inner-Prince, the gifted young crooner puts on a showcase for his versatility, as he smooths things out over a frenetic funk-laced production. For those who’ve been following his career, he’s definitely thinking outside of the box.

This latest production follows his notable contributions on Goldlink’s At What Cost project and Kendrick Lamar’s acclaimed DAMN. album which has moved on to become the most popular album of 2017.
