Alongside Apple‘s official unveiling of the iPhone Xs, Xs Max and entry-level XR models, the company has also made a more low-key announcement regarding its HomePod device. The new functions allow users to search for music by lyrics — for example, you can say “play the song that goes like this…” — as well as including Siri shortcuts, the “Find my iPhone” feature and the option of setting multiple timers.

Another stand-out feature of the update is the ability to make and receive calls through the device. Lastly, HomePod is now compatible with support for more language options, including Spanish and Canadian French. The new functions are all available through a software update.
