A Closer Look at the Études x adidas Consortium UltraBOOST Uncaged

A couple of weeks back, we took a quick look at adidas’s joint venture alongside Études, as the duo went to work on a collaborative UltraBOOST Uncaged model. And now, with the silhouette’s release date only a few days away, it’s time now to explore the sneaker in finer detail.
A “Collegiate Royal” knit textile swarms the upper in its entirety, spotlighting a tonal palette embodied often by the Parisian label, while the white star formation is symbolic of a progressively-fortified European Union. Sharp touches of black peek out from the eyestay panel and ankle collar, which also shows up in the full-length BOOST midsole, rubber outsole and heel counter area. Lastly, branding accents from both names appear on the tongue and heel pull tab, helping to round out the contemporary rework. Priced at $220 USD, the new Études x adidas Consortium UltraBOOST Uncaged is set to make its debut on September 15 at select Consortium carriers.
