Given that this is our first look at Études and adidas Consortium’s collaborative UltraBOOST Uncaged model and rain cape silhouette, Paris Fashion Week, however, provided an early glimpse of the partnership, as the Parisian fashion house hit the stage sporting co-designed pieces with the Three Stripes brand for Fall/Winter 2018.
First up is the UltraBOOST Uncaged in its star-adorned, bright blue Primeknit-constructed uppers, which not only alludes to the luxury label’s fondness of the lively hue, but a symbolic reference of a strong, fortified European union. Partnering up with the statement runners is a translucent rain cape. Minimalist in its design language, the jacket steers clear of expressive colors, prints and patterns and instead leans on subtle co-branding cues as its main artistic point of difference. Both the UltraBOOST Uncaged and rain cape will be made available on September 15 and can be found at such retailers as Hanon.
