Karhu Readies for Fall With Its "Ruska" Sneaker Collection
Featuring the Aria and Synchron Classic.
Finnish brand Karhu welcomes the upcoming Fall season with its “RUSKA” sneaker collection. The word “Ruska” describes the time of the year when the leaves and landscapes in Finland change colors, turning into rich hues of gold, burgundy and caramel. This autumnal color palette is the theme of the “Ruska” pack, which features two silhouettes — the Aria and Synchron Classic — and a total of four colorways.
The two Aria editions have a monosock construction, suede panels and a color-blocked design that sports a gradient effect symbolic of the onset of Fall, offered in “Military Olive” and “Wet Weather.” The Synchron Classic comes in “Bracken” and “Butternut,” and boasts a suede upper with hits of multicolor water repellent nylon mesh at the toe, mid foot and heel.
The Karhu “Ruska” sneaker collection will release on September 1 at Karhu’s web store, Helsinki concept store and select retailers worldwide. The price range is $130 to $135 USD.
