Uber Has Made Over 10 Billion Trips
Double from last year.
Uber has announced it has completed 10 billion rides and deliveries last month, a year following Uber hitting its 5 billion trip milestone. Comparatively, Lyft, Uber’s U.S. competitor, completed half a billion trips last October.
Uber reached the 10 billion mark on June 10 following 173 trips starting in 21 countries across five continents. This news follows reports of senior Uber employees being accused of discriminatory behavior. But it has not stopped the peer-to-peer car service from growing, as the company will soon begin renting out scooters.
