An Exclusive Look Inside Off-White™'s New Korean Outposts
Full of modern design flourishes.
Following an inside peek at Off-White™’s Macao location, we have a look at the brand’s two new Asian stores, both located in Seoul, Korea. The latest shops, dubbed “Freestanding” and “Hyundai Coex,” accompany a pair of Off-White™ flagships already located in the Korean capital, with distinct interiors setting each location apart.
“Freestanding” is, true to its name, a freestanding outpost — as opposed to the locations housed in malls — and as such, it boasts the most floor space. Clean white floors and walls & metal furniture emphasize the clothing housed in various freestanding racks. Campaign imagery housed on the rear wall offers some colorful contrast, with a recessed portion towards the front of the store showcasing a wireframe couch in line with the chairs seen at the Macao store. Meanwhile, “Hyundai Coex” offers warm-hued wireframe tables capped with raw-edged granite, contrasting against the store’s all-blue interior. A Miles Davis reference seemingly inspired the store’s paint job, with a rotating placard above the handbag display reading “KIND OF BLUE” or “SEOUL.”
Check out the in-depth photos above to scope the stores and the covetable goods inside, including collaborative RIMOWA cases and the elevated Nike Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit sneakers.
Meanwhile, the all-black Off-White™ x Nike Air Presto is set to drop in mere days.
