After receiving a plethora of teasers, we now have a closer look a the Virgil Abloh x Nike Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit.

Part of Virgil’s upcoming Nike x Off-White™ “Football, Mon Amour” collection, the hybrid sneaker mixes key elements from Nike’s Zoom Fly SP running model and its Mercurial soccer line. The collaborative range is an expression of Virgil’s high school soccer memories and his interests in mixing lifestyle and sport branding. Predicated by visceral design, the collection sports both bold and nuanced visual cues in its channeling of the sport of football.

Available in black and bright orange, the Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit sneaker found in the range features dot embellishment at optimal regions to strike the ball. Serving both an aesthetic and functional purpose, the collaborative footwear model was designed for wearers to subconsciously train all the time. With the lightweight ZoomX foam midsole and segmented rubber outsole providing wearers with cutting-edge cushioning and support. While quotation and industrial inspired Off-White™ branding found on the laces, midsole and medial side round up the design of the shoe.
